HEALTHY SURVIVAL COOKING (4 class series)

  • PreTeen
  • Teen
  • College-bound Students

This class series helps to support and inspire pre-teens through young adults in their quest to pursue a healthier lifestyle.  The focus is to promote self-sufficiency in the kitchen.

These days, children, teens, and young adults seem to have food "magically" appear before them without any knowledge about the nutritional value or the preparation of that dish.  This series will open up discussion about the body-food connection and provide skills for preparing healthful and delicious meals.

QUICK AND EASY DINNER IDEAS (individual class)

FEARLESS COOKING FOR DADS (individual class)

Stop fretting about dinner!  Experience just how delicious quick recipes can be.  Meals that take 30 minutes or less is the primary focus of these classes.  You would be surprised how many quick recipes can be put together with a store bought roasted chicken . . . chicken vegetable soup, chicken quesadillas, ... it's endless!

CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE AND MORE CHOCOLATE (individual class)

Need we say more?  Warm chocolate cake (almost flourless) with almond flavored whipped cream, flourless chocolate cookies, and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting will be on the baking lineup.  Joyous!
